Learning Objectives (DTL):
  1. Listen for specific information in a video.
  2. Exchange ideas and opinions.


Success Criteria (SMART):
  • Answer 10 WH-questions on Kahoot based on the video shown in class.
  • Use WordCloud to list out 10 adjectives that describes the character.

ACTIVITIES:
Starter(Class) (10 mins):
           
  • Pupils were asked whether they have heard about 'The Big Bad Wolf'.
            -What/Who the Big Bad Wolf is always associated with?
            -The Big Bad Wolf is a kind or evil character?
  • Teacher tell students that they will watch a video about the 'Red Riding Hood'
  •  Teacher inform students to pay attention while watching the video because they will have to answer 10 WH-questions based on the video later.
  • Teacher reminds students about the WH-questions by listing it out.

            
Main Activities:
Activity 1 (Individual) (20 minutes):
  • Teacher play the video (teacher will play it twice if necessary)
  • Students search up 'Kahoot' on the computer and join the game using the ID given by the teacher.
  • Students play the Kahoot! game 
  •  After the game is done, teacher will show the ranking of the highest score.

         Activity 2 (Groupwork) (25 minutes):
  • Teacher introduces WordArt and demonstrate how to use it to the students. 
  • Students get into groups of 3.
  •  Each group have to choose 1 character from the video and list out 10 adjectives that is related to the character.
  • Each group will have to create a wordcloud based on the character and adjectives that they have listed.
  • After they have finished, each group will have to download the wordcloud and submit it to the teacher.
           
Conclusion (5 minutes):

  • Class is concluded with what they have learnt today (WH-questions, adjectives)


Follow up activity:

  • Each group will present their wordcloud in the next class.
