ACTIVITIES:
Starter(Class)
(10 mins):
- Pupils were asked whether they have heard about 'The Big Bad Wolf'.
-What/Who the Big Bad Wolf is always associated with?
-The Big Bad Wolf is a kind or evil character?
- Teacher tell students that they will watch a video about the 'Red Riding Hood'
- Teacher inform students to pay attention while watching the video because they will have to answer 10 WH-questions based on the video later.
- Teacher reminds students about the WH-questions by listing it out.
Main Activities:
Activity
1 (Individual) (20 minutes):
- Teacher play the video (teacher will play it twice if necessary)
- Students search up 'Kahoot' on the computer and join the game using the ID given by the teacher.
- Students play the Kahoot! game
- After the game is done, teacher will show the ranking of the highest score.
Activity 2 (Groupwork) (25 minutes):
- Teacher introduces WordArt and demonstrate how to use it to the students.
- Students get into groups of 3.
- Each group have to choose 1 character from the video and list out 10 adjectives that is related to the character.
- Each group will have to create a wordcloud based on the character and adjectives that they have listed.
- After they have finished, each group will have to download the wordcloud and submit it to the teacher.
Conclusion (5 minutes):
- Class is concluded with what they have learnt today (WH-questions, adjectives)
Follow up activity:
- Each group will present their wordcloud in the next class.
